Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe

Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe are able to withstand high working pressures and maintain the flexibility of plastic pipes, which can be made into coiled tubing, with lengths ranging from tens of meters to thousands of meters, and mainly used in oil and gas recovery, high pressure and long distance transportation of natural gas.

2). Liner is used to contain the transported fluid. 

3). Structural layer is used to provide the mechanical strength to withstand the loads applied during service and installation. 

4). The polymeric cover protects the structure during installation and operation, help transfer mechanical loads within the end fitting. 

RTP is a plastic composite pressure pipe of many types. The pipe wall is composed of three layers, the inner layer is a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant polyolefin inner pipe (mostly PE), and the middle layer is a reinforcing material layer, which can be made of various high-strength synthetic fibers (such as aramid) and inorganic fibers (Such as glass fiber, basalt fiber), steel wire is first made into a reinforced belt or steel belt is used directly.

The outer layer is a functional protective layer made of polyolefin, which has the functions of anti-scratch, anti-static, and flame retardant) to meet different usage requirements. It is also possible to directly use high-strength synthetic fibers (such as aramid), inorganic fibers (such as glass fibers, basalt fibers), steel wires to be directly wound on the inner tube to form a reinforcing layer.
